We spent the first part of our last day visiting temples. Since I was the only one in the group who has been to Bangkok before, I suggested the temples to visit. They all suggested that we go visit The Grand Palace and I was game because for whatever reason, I have never been there during my 2 visits to Bangkok, hehe.
Inside the Grand Palace. Tons and tons of golden temples with intricate details.
To hopefully not get lost heehee. When traveling, it’s good to take pictures of things like this especially if there are no free maps available.
At one of the temples that we went to after the Grand Palace.
For lunch, I brought them to MBK Shopping Center. It has around 6-7 floors of shops. W-o-w right?
The mall has this cool food court concept. You need to have your money exchanged to these coupons as they are the only form of payment accepted by the food courts. In case you over-exchange your coupons, you can always exchange it back to real money. 🙂
Of course, softdrink with no ice is more expensive, lol!
Last thai food before leaving..
After lunch, we all headed to the Pratunam Market and did last our last minute shopping. If you have plans on going to Bangkok, make sure to give yourself at least half a day and go to Pratunam Market, it seriously has tons and tons of super affordable merchandise. From clothes and shoes, to bags, scarves, and what have yous. Make sure as well to do it either early in the morning (not too hot yet) or late in the afternoon, as most of the shops are allowed to open by the streets during that time.
Travel is <3.
